ReStore Volunteer Spotlight: “Bad” Carol Ferguson (and Millie!)

Once a month, the ReStore Volunteer Coordinator Fran Harvey chooses one outstanding volunteer to spotlight. The ReStore staff and volunteers are like a family–and we could never do the work that we do without them. bad carol

We are blessed with our ReStore volunteers so that it’s hard each month to choose one to highlight! Carol, however, whom I see each weekday (and we respectfully refer to as Bad Carol as in ‘baaaaaaadddd – gooooooood’) does an amazing job running our weekly Silent Auction. She researches, selects, prices, coordinates and inventories items to be sold. She also helps at the register and in the work room with cleaning, sorting and pricing small household items. This generates revenue to accomplish our mission of partnering with God and people to create self -help opportunities for families to own affordable homes, improve their lives and strengthen their communities. Carol has an amazing sense of humor, fierce dedication to Habitat, a great 13 year old Labrador, Millie, and loves lobster (that’s another story)! Kudos to you Bad Carol!
