We’re so excited to share this with you – it’s a peek at the plans that we’ve been working on for Robert’s Run. The rendering below shows the first phase of development. Please take a look and read more below!
Robert’s Run is located in Pittsboro, within easy walking distance to grocery stores, a drug store, and the center of Pittsboro. In the first phase of construction (pictured here), we will begin with the cul-de-sac, and later extend Robert’s Street to meet Toomer Loop. We will also create public spaces, including a ball field, walking path, small park with covered pavilion, and green space for common use. The areas surrounding these twenty five homes is available for future construction – we hope to include varied types of housing to make Robert’s Run a diverse, vibrant community.
As infrastructure work begins in Robert’s Run, we are building a small neighborhood of eight homes in Siler City. In coming years, we will look for a larger piece of land in Siler City so that we can continue to address the need for affordable housing across the county. We will alternate build seasons in Pittsboro and Siler City for the foreseeable future in order to make sure that everyone in Chatham County has a safe, healthy, affordable place to live.
