Without volunteers, we’d need an additional $478,000 to run our programs.

how to volunteer

construction

Whether you have never picked up a hammer or you are an experienced builder, we would love to build with you!

restore

Keep donations moving through, greet customers, run the register, connect with fellow volunteers, and help us price donations.

community

Get the word out about Chatham Habitat in the community through hosting events, assisting at community outreach events, prepping meals for volunteers, and more.​

office

We love having students, job hunters, or anyone looking to gain on-the-job skills in administration, finance, or non-profit fundraising.

We also welcome groups! When businesses, churches, schools, communities, and clubs volunteer with Chatham Habitat, they accomplish more than impacting the lives of families in need – they also strengthen their own organizations.

Chatham Habitat is a great place to complete your required volunteer hours, learn some skills, and make some new friends along the way.*

*Please note that we do not accept charges that include violence or assault, sexual assault or harrassment, or weapon possession. Larceny charges will not be assigned to the ReStores.

*Chatham Habitat has the right to refuse community service for any reason, not limited to those charges listed above.
