Women Build

Developed through the partnership between Lowes and Habitat for Humanity, National Women Build Week challenges women to devote a day to the effort to eliminate poverty housing. The event is an initiative of Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Program, underwritten by Lowes, which brings women from all walks of life together to learn construction skills and use those skills to build simple, decent, affordable homes in Chatham County and nationwide.

This year, we are seeking small business sponsors to participate in Women Build and make a financial contribution, which will help us raise some money for the houses that the women will be working on.

Women Build 2017 will be on Wednesday and Thursday, May 10th and 11th!

“We love to donate time and money to Chatham Habitat. Our Partner families are people who want to help themselves. We want to help them, as we know it will transform their lives and the lives of their children. All you have to do is come to a homeowner dedication and it will change you too!” -Andy & Candida Cruickshank, longtime donors and volunteers
