Women Build

~Save the Date~

Women Build 2019: May 17-18.

Registration opens on International Women’s Day (March 8th).

Developed through the partnership between Lowe’s and Habitat for Humanity, National Women Build Week challenges women to devote a day to the effort to eliminate poverty housing. Habitat affiliates host Women Build events throughout the year. These bring women from all walks of life together to learn construction skills and use those skills to build safe, decent, affordable homes in Chatham County and nationwide.

This year, we are seeking small business sponsors to participate in Women Build and make a financial contribution, which will help us raise some money for the houses that the women will be working on.

We are also looking for women to participate! Bring your neighbors, coworkers, family, and friends to join in on the fun. All experience levels are welcome!

To learn more about this special event, email Rachel Horowitz or call 919-542-0794 x228.

"Everyone who gets sleepy at night deserves a safe, decent place to lay their heads, on terms they can afford to pay." -Millard Fuller, Habitat for Humanity Founder
