On Sunday, we welcomed our volunteers for a picnic to celebrate their service to our organization. Every day, we rely on the work that these dedicated people provide, and without them, we wouldn’t be able to build houses at all. It takes 5,850 volunteer hours to complete one home! In the ReStores, we utilize nearly 300 volunteer hours every week. It’s the least we can do to honor our most dedicated supporters once a year!
Listed below are the awards that we gave out on Sunday:
Lifetime Achievement Award: Sam Wilburn for over 25 years of dedicated service Golden Hammer Award (Volunteer of the Year): Andy Cruickshank Golden Spoon Award: Candida Cruickshank
